Pattacakes hits the radio

Jane had a successful discussion with Vanessa Feltz on BBC Radio London the other day. She was commenting on the Government policy to give out cookery books to all 11 year olds. As she said, 'This is great but needs to be backed up with education and generally children need to see parents cooking in the home. How many of us have bought cookery books which sit on the shelf.' At Pattacakes we thoroughly endorse the policy to make it compulsory for all children to learn food technology between the ages of 11-14 from 2011 but we should be tackling the supermarkets as well.
